Grant Allen
Lead Naturalist
Grant was born and raised in Owensboro, KY. He grew up knowing he would always have a love for animals. He began his animal career through Nurture to Nature, a wildlife sanctuary Grant and his mother started. The mission began to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals. Over the years, the mission grew to educate how to live in harmony and the importance of wildlife. Grant gained a lot of experience presenting at different schools & festivals.
In 2014, he co-starred in Bandit Patrol on Nat Geo Wild for three seasons showing the care it took to release thousands of animals back to the wild. While filming, Grant decided to further his education about animals. He earned a Bachelor's in Zoology at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY where he also met his wife, RaKara. After graduating, they stayed in the area and continued assisting with the sanctuary.
Grant was contacted by John Ham in 2022 and decided to follow his passion to educate and entertain thousands with exotic animals through different programs with Animal Tales. He looks forward to this new journey!

We facilitate the learning experience by getting people involved in all of our programs. On top of that, every single show is unique because the animals (unlike the presenters) don’t have a script!
