Jeff grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee and now resides in Kingston Springs, Tennessee with his wife, Celia, and their two children, Austin and Caroline. In 2006 Jeff and his family began an alpaca breeding program and later grew into an educational outreach program bringing the alpacas and other farm animals into schools to educate students of the ever changing farming needs in America today…

Celia Armstrong brings her education background to Animal Tales with 20 years teaching experience in the elementary classroom. She is the wife to Midsouth director Jeff Armstrong and mother of two children, Austin and Caroline. Their family has been educating others about exotics and farm animals for over 10 years. It has become their family’s passion to help others understand the importance and impact animals have on our lives. Celia aids in developing curriculum and ensuring state standards are included in our highly educational school programs. She and her family work together each summer to train and plan for new animal ambassadors to join the Animal Tales programs every year. She enjoys traveling to new places and growing her faith with continued mission work in Haiti.
Anna was born and raised in Mayfield, KY. After spending several years as the Preschool Coordinator for Mayfield’s YMCA, she chose to stay at home to raise her three sons. Being the sister-in-law of Animal Tales founder, Jared, Anna has been around Animal Tales since its inception in 2009. Being a stay-at-home mom, the Administrative Assistant position with Animal Tales was a perfect and natural fit. Isaac was born and raised in Western Kentucky, where he currently resides with his wife and their two dogs. He recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science. He has previously worked as an interpreter at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, as an author for the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service, and as a research technician studying deer and crop relations.
Nicole Arnold is a resident of Kingston Springs and is married to
Randall Arnold. They have three children, Tristan, Ethan and Abbegale.
Nicole is a special education and theater teacher at Nashville Christian
School where she is currently in her 25th year of teaching. She serves
as the president and frequent director of productions at Cheatham County
Zoe recently graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a
Bachelor’s in Environmental and Wildlife Biology. She originally grew
up in New York City but has always loved wildlife even within the dense
urban jungle. Throughout high school and college she has worked with a
wide array of native and exotic species at private zoos, wildlife
rehabs, and in environmental education…
